The evening will include a reading by students from the Ashland High Charter School of some of Rachel's emails from Rafah to her parents; readings of poetry written in Rachel's memory and a viewing of "The Killing Zone" -- a documentary about life in Gaza -- followed by discussion. Tentatively, there will be music from the Middle East, performed by a local group and Chai tea with cookies.
