Remembering Rachel Corrie, A Community Celebration to Honor Her Life and Carry On Her Vision Tuesday, March 16th 2004 6:30-9:00pm

The evening will open with Rachel's parents Cindy and Craig Corrie followed by Lin Nelson, one of Rachel's faculty at the Evergreen State College and Laura Gordon, who recently returned form 10 months in Rafah, Palestine. Local organizations who are continuing her work will highlight their current projects providing an opportunity for community members to get involved in carrying on Rachel's legacy. The celebration will provide opportunities to create small dove kites, write pen pal letters to Rafah, view poetry and art, and listen to music received by Rachel's family from all over the world in the last year as a tribute to her life. The event will conclude with a candle lit march and open mic.
