Remember Rachel Corrie -- Courage to Resist
Tuesday, March 16th 2004  7:00 PM
Kansas City, MO

Rachel Corrie, a 23-year old student at Evergreen State College, in Olympia, Washington, was killed one year ago on March 16, 2003 when she was run over by an Israeli military bulldozer. Rachel—working with the International Solidarity Movement—was trying to stop the bulldozer from demolishing the home of a Palestinian doctor in the Gaza Strip. Rachel is an inspiration to many in the peace movement — in the U.S., Palestine and Israel.

Come to this event commemorating Rachel’s life and dedication to peacefully resisting the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory. Hear from JOE CARR who worked with Rachel and witnessed her death. BARBARA LECLERQ will also speak about her September 2003 trip to Bethlehem and the Golan Heights.
