This statement of expectations
primarily applies to groups and organizations that are members of the US
Campaign. Individuals are welcome to join
the US Campaign, and can contribute to its work in a variety of ways: donating
funds to the Campaign's work; taking part in its task forces; standing for
election to the Steering Committee; or serving on the Advisory Board.
Any group of individuals can establish an organization and apply for membership
of the US Campaign. How to start your own group.
What Member Organizations Can Expect of the US Campaign

Access to the US Campaign’s web site to post member organization contact information, web site link, and events
- Publicity of member organization reports, campaigns, initiatives to other member organizations through the web site and the US
- Campaign newsletter, Occupation End Notes
- An invitation to participate in, receive voting rights for, and
stand for election to the Steering Committee of the US Campaign at its
annual decision-making conference
- Assistance in local organizing and mobilizing and conducting hands-on skills workshops for activists
- Distribution of member organization written materials and publications to Capitol Hill
- Assistance in arranging for member organizations to hold a grassroots advocacy day in Washington, DC
What the US Campaign Can Expect of Member Organizations
- Distribution of US Campaign action alerts and campaign initiatives to membership base of member organization
- Delegation of member organization representative to the US
Campaign’s Congressional District Coordinator network and other
campaign initiatives
- Assisting the US Campaign to identify activists in a particular
locality for purposes of generating local organizations where none
currently exist
- Paying yearly membership dues of between $100-$1,000 depending on the size of the organization
- Designating one person to be the official liaison between an
organization and the US Campaign and have that person participate in a
moderated list-serve of liaisons
